Forensic Services
The Sullivan Center has on staff several doctoral level psychologists who are more than five years post licensure, and who have experience in forensic/legal evaluations and have served as expert witnesses in court.

The Well Child Concept
A child clinician can serve many roles. Traditionally only parents whose children were having significant problems took their child to see a psychologist. Ignorance led to some social stigma, with the notion that families should handle their own problems. MORE

Approved by the American Psychological Association
In addition, we are currently approved by the California Board of Behavioral Sciences to provide CE courses to Marriage Family Therapists and Licensed Clinical Social Workers. In coordination with local area CE providers, we strive to provide ongoing training opportunities to assure that Central Valley clinicians have ample courses to meet licensure requirements. It is our goal to develop advanced clinical training opportunities.  MORE

Kathy Marie Sullivan, Ph.D., ABPP. Clinical Director
Dr. Sullivan is the founder and Clinical Director of the Sullivan Center for Children. She holds a Diplomate from the American Board of Professional Psychology and is Board Certified in Clinical Child and Adolescent Psychology. Dr. Sullivan received her undergraduate degree from Indiana University, her doctorate from the California School of Professional Psychology in 1980, and was licensed by the state of California in 1982.
